Nurse Practitioner Clinics

Siobhan McGeachie our Advanced Nurse Practitioner runs clinics in conjunction with the Doctors. She can prescribe medications and refer patients for further care. She is also available for telephone support and advice.

We run clinics including Coronary Heart Disease, Diabetes and Respiratory Reviews - The Practice will contact you when you are due for review.

Appointments are also available for contraceptive advice, cervical smears and health advice.

Childhood Immunisations

Serious illnesses can be prevented.  Make sure that your child is protected.   Childhood immunisations are delivered by a Centralised Immunisation Team who will send you out an appointment.  If you have any queries please contact them directly on 01383 565456.

Child Health Assessment

All children are offered a bay check at approximately 8 weeks of age. These are done by Dr Henderson and Dr Taylor. You will be sent an appointment when this is due.

Midwife Clinics

Wednesday 14:00 – 16:00. Please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment.

Cervical Smears

We recommend that every woman between 25 and 65 years has a cervical smear. You will be sent a reminder from the Health Board when your smear is due, advising you to contact the surgery to arrange this.

Phlebotomy

Phlebotomy appointments are available to book via reception. Please note the administrative staff are unable to book these without a clinician requesting these.

Community Treatment and Care Staff

Appointments with CTAC nurses can be made by contacting 01337 832135.

 

They provide wound dressings, certain health checks, ear irrigation (wax removal) and foot screening.
